Some Community Credits
I'd like to point out the folks below and give them some well deserved credit! They not only inspired a number of the elements of the main layout you see now today, but they also inspired me while I worked through multiple iterations of the Plugged.com layout that you won't ever see. They are all very talented and without their selfless contribution the the greater good of all, I would likely still be struggling with creating icons.
